Ifrit is operated by Solo Dolo Labs LLC. This policy explains the information Ifrit uses to provide personalized AI wake-up audio and a reliable alarm experience.
Information Ifrit uses
Ifrit may process the following information when you use the app:
- Name or nickname, so wake-up messages can address you naturally.
- Alarm schedule, persona, news categories, and other briefing preferences (including the Words of Affirmation toggle).
- Approximate location context when you allow it, so Ifrit can include local weather and daypart context.
- Optional Google Calendar summary if you connect Google Calendar — see "Google Calendar" below.
- Generated script, audio metadata, and audio file references needed to serve your wake-up message.
- Device-scoped authentication token and push token used to sync alarms, entitlements, and audio readiness.
- StoreKit subscription state for Ifrit Plus, including product and transaction metadata needed to verify entitlement.
How Ifrit uses information
We use this information to generate short wake-up scripts, create audio, deliver alarm-related updates, maintain subscription access, provide support, and keep the service operating reliably.
AI processing
Ifrit uses third-party AI services to generate wake-up scripts and text-to-speech audio. The prompt may include your selected persona, news categories, alarm timing, permitted location context, an optional condensed Google Calendar day summary, and an optional Words of Affirmation cue. Do not add sensitive personal information to your briefing preferences.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar is an optional briefing source. When you connect Google Calendar inside Ifrit:
- You sign in with Google through Apple's native Google Sign-In flow. Ifrit never sees your Google password.
- Ifrit reads a minimal calendar view (counts, the next upcoming event timing, and a short summary string) only to compose your wake-up script.
- The condensed summary is sent to the AI service alongside the prompt. Full event payloads are not stored on the backend.
- You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the You tab inside the app, which clears the briefing data we hold for you.
- You can also revoke Ifrit's Google access at any time from your Google account security settings.
What Ifrit does not do
- Ifrit does not sell personal information.
- Ifrit does not run an advertising profile or social graph.
- Ifrit does not need bank credentials or contacts.
- Ifrit does not require a Google account; Google Calendar is opt-in and only used to shape the briefing.
Retention
Ifrit keeps the data needed to operate your alarms, preferences, optional calendar briefing, subscription entitlement, generated audio, and service diagnostics. We aim to keep v1 data minimal and may delete stale generated audio as the product matures.
Your choices
You can change location permission in iOS Settings, toggle briefing sources (Categories, Weather, Calendar, Words of Affirmation) in the app, connect or disconnect Google Calendar at any time, restore or manage subscriptions through Apple, and contact us for support or deletion requests.
